親愛的朋友和弟子們：
回顧一下，這是個忙碌，但很好的一年。
我在很多地方給了很多教導。我的各項計畫，特別是尼泊爾秋巴地區的給洽尼寺，進行得非常好，完成了很多進度。
我想祝福各位每一個人都新年快樂。祈願我每一個弟子都繼續保有健康和富足，以及最重要的，在精神之道上繼續進步。
在新年的這個時刻，請與我一起為了世界和平來祈願──
祈願戰爭和衝突都終結，祈願危險的疾疫都終結，祈願我們找到方案來解決威脅大地之母的氣候鉅變。
也請與我一起為了在空難中喪生的人們，以及所有在過去這一年中因戰爭而失去生命及受難的人們祈願。現在2014年已經走到了盡頭，讓我們祈願2015年會成為這世界上更為和平的一年。
這只是一封表達善願的簡短信函。我將在藏曆新年(羅薩節)送上一封更為詳盡的信函。
祝福我所有的朋友和弟子們都新年快樂！

Dear Friends and Students,
Reflecting back, this has been a busy, but very good year.
I have taught many times in many places. My projects, especially the Chobar Gechak nunnery, have gone very well. A lot of progress has been made.
I want to wish a Happy New Year to all of you. I pray that all my students remain healthy and prosperous, and most importantly, progress on the spiritual path.
On this occasion of the New Year, please join me to pray for world peace --
for an end to war and conflict, an end to dangerous diseases, and that we may find a solution to the climate change that threatens mother earth.
Also please join me to pray for those lost in airplane crashes.
And all those killed and suffering due to war this past year. Now that 2014 is reaching its end, let’s pray that 2015 will be a more peaceful year in the world.
This is just a short letter of good wishes. I will send a more detailed letter for the Tibetan New Year (Losar).
